When we test drove the CT we were playing with the rear screen it changed the music etc on the front. So here is my question, if my kids pair headphones to the rear, can they watch theater, play music, or games, while the wife and I retain our sanity up front?

Yes, but they must pair Bluetooth headphones. When my boys get on, it asks me upfront to let them take over the speakers. I usually click No. They pair headphones if they want to listen to YouTube. FYI you can only pair 2 things at a time. SO when they go to pair 2 controllers, or 2 headsets, I need to disconnect my phone.

They really need to increase the number of BT devices...if possible. Not sure if that would be a software or hardware limitation. 1 phone, 2+ controllers, head phones? stuff adds up quick. I have both wired and wireless controllers but would be nice.

Yeah it's so, frustrating, if you want to pair more than two game controllers you have to use dongles!

Someone broke it down on tmc somewhere. It's a hardware limitation.

My kids do this all the time with the limitations previously mentioned. The cool thing is that you can see what they are watching from the front screen and you can also search for videos on YouTube (for example) for them and not have to reach into the back to manipulate the screen if they are too young to do so. It's a life saver for me and my toddler. I can set him up from my main screen and he is good to go for the ride. If a video stops, i can find another from the main screen and he is good to go again.
