Hey all. Seeing more and more aftermarket companies make cool stuff so figured I’d put in a request that I’m sure most of us that load/unload need and want. I use that tiny side step of the bumper a lot to grab/adjust items that are in the far back of the bed.
And after some research it was nice to know that Tesla “technically” made it a somewhat reinforced step, even though it feels super flimsy and honestly it’s a very small area to step on. (See images below from manual). I guess it feels flimsy because of the black foam topper.
But it would be awesome if someone could make a metal bolt on upgrade to make a legitimate side step. And not make it some humongous ugly step that you have to destroy your bumper to mount, Just something simple and fits the form of the truck and makes it a larger/tougher step.
