Rotate Tires - All Terrain

At what mileage and how often are we supposed to rotate the All Terrain tires for the truck? I am at 4,753 miles at this point. Also do we put a service order in with Tesla to rotate them? Thank you in advance

I do it every 5000 miles at Discount Tire....free. Wait time....55 mins. No, I didn't have to buy anything.

Tesla says every 6,250 miles. You can request it through the app if you aren’t comfortable doing it yourself. Depending on where you live, they can send a mobile tech to do it or you might have to go by a SC. Don’t know what they charge for it right off.

Had mine rotated last week at Tesla. Cost was $65 and they cleaned cameras and I finally got my tire covers after 6 months.
If you don’t have your tire covers yet, make any appointment with Tesla Service and once you’re in the shop they’ll put them on.

Asked tech for his thoughts when I dropped CB off for other pre-scheduled service (wind noise diagnosis and trimotor rear drive oil fill plug) at just over the 5K mile mark. After checking treadwear, he said it wouldn't hurt to rotate them. As noted above it was $65, so I had it done.

There is no tire rotation mobile service for the CT’s! Naturally they don’t tell me until the day of (the tech) so it was cancelled and rescheduled for late next month.

they got me in yesterday, 1hr40m wait and $65

They added on updating the TPMS bla bla

Had Tesla tire mobile service out last week for something else, he said mine were good until 10k-12k. Get a tread reading device and monitor wear, there's no need to rotate until the tread says so (this all depends on your driving habits and driving conditions) But can't hurt at 6k-8k miles.

Every truck is different with different driving styles, road conditions, etc. Don't just do it just for the sake of doing it. Check your tire thread depth and once they decrease by 2/32 or 3/32 then rotate. Brand new was around 11.5 or 12/32..

I am at 5,284 miles and I am not a rough driver at all but that has been a good metric with my other teslas. I’ll monitor tread depth this time around.

Odd, I had mine scheduled for the new North Fort Worth location, then a couple days ago they changed it to mobile. Guess Ill see in a week.

Check with them before hand, nobody said a thing until the tech texted me saying they cannot rotate CT tires. smh!

I had mine done by mobile tech in my garage, it just depends on the SC. He was done in half hour, it would have been a little less if hadn’t been freezing outside.

Once I get back into a house, I will handle it all myself for the reasons you call out.
