What are the pros and cons of each besides range and off-roading capabilities?
For example do All-Terrain wear out faster under normal driving conditions? I don't plan on going off-roading but I do like the aesthetic.
Another example, does All-Season accommodate the bigger wheel covers once Tesla fixes the design? I don't like the look of the little wheel cover.

AFAIK, All Weathers aren't available yet.

All weather gets a few extra miles and may be quieter. But then again no one is really complaining about the All Terrains.

Wheel covers? No one knows.

Definetly recommened getting the OffRoad. It completes the look so well. Once worn down you can always change them. But start 100% and take it from there. Depending on your driving style and miles you may be surprised.

Everything is different between All Terrain and All Season
The tires are different
The rims are different
The covers are different

AT for the look ( no.1 reason for me) and off road.

AS for the mileage but it does look like boring and low for the 100k vehicle. Maybe it is ok for non-fs ones.

I went for core wheels/AS tires. I am looking for a softer ride and don’t plan off roading. There are many AT tires discarded from CTs on eBay for reasonable prices if the AS are not a fit.

So one of the tire choices will be all season not all weather? It is my understanding that a tire like the Crossclimate 2 tire is better in the snow than an all season while maintaining a low rolling resistance. Of course that tire may not/never be available for the Cybertruck size/load rating and probably would not be very good for any somewhat serious off-roading? Thoughts?

We know what the All Season Tires that will come on the Cybertruck are.

20" All Season Option: Pirelli Scorpion ATR - 285/65R20 Front & Rear

The ELECT signifies it is an EV specific tire as well

I think you're right, Tesla will never offer an all-weather tire for the Cybertruck. It's a tall engineering challenge. That's why I will be looking for a good studless winter tire for next winter.

I'm finding the All-Terrain tires to be a good all-round tire, except for snow and ice. They seem reasonable tough and flat resistant when the air pressure is well-maintained and they work pretty good on the road, with no obvious bad characteristics. Quiet, smooth, good steering response, good tracking, good traction in the dry and reasonably good in the wet. I haven't driven them hard in hot weather yet, that will probably tax them a bit. Just up the pressure by 10% to limit heat buildup.

I hope the All-Seasons are durable and flat resistant too, but that is generally not a big priority in a low rolling resistance all-season tire.

Are all Terrains good for basic drives say up to the mountains to ski? I have always had all-season tires.. with any AWD suv I have had, it has never gotten bad enough to out chains on

All terrain. Looks great and I’m not concerned about the minor range difference.

In general, AT tires are not great snow tires, although some are better than others. Any true dedicated winter tire will put the best AT tires to shame when it comes to really slippery winter conditions. The difference is that winter tires have a rubber compound designed to grip frozen water (snow and ice), AT tires must use a harder rubber compound to deal with summer heat.

The mountains I frequent in the winter are famous for deep, frequent snow storms and the road is almost always in the transition zone (in terms of freezing level) so it's worth it to run a dedicated winter set. But since the lowland roads are often bare and wet, studs are not a good solution. Studs suck on bare pavement and often underperform a good studless winter tire in deep snow. The reason for that is the rubber compound has to be hard enough to retain the studs. And studs are not much use once they have worn nearly flush to the tread.

Every winter in SoFL, when it gets steep and deep, I run these. I can say I've never once got stuck and those bitches at Publix aren't messing with me over a parking spot either.

Will run on my CT.
