Running Boards - any downsides / drawbacks?

Teslas Terrestrial Armor does not fit with running boards and it’s one of my favorite mods. Something to know.
I removed t-sportline’s step and rocker protector from mine which was really great because it didn’t worsen ground clearance and offered some protection when I put it on.
The terrestrial armor is much better choice though in my opinion

This bothers me, alot. They should have made it flush somehow, that part there just irks me ..

I agree. I got used to it after a while and covering it with xpel which helped but they should have. I believe Cybertruckco also has a nice option that doesn’t have this but pricier.

Honestly, for that money I’d start considering terrestrial armor installed and warrantied by Tesla.

OP, there is also a power option. I can’t speak to the durability of it, practicality, or effect on ground clearance but the install videos look pretty manageable. That said, the people who make those videos get lots of free stuff from the people who sell them so I take everything they say with a small boulder of salt.
