Anyone ever run into their screen flickering or glitching? Also seems like the back light or is bad or something. So there’s a vertical green strip the goes across the screen. It’s annoying, and it seems to happen when it’s humid or moisture but I could be wrong. Tesla couldn’t replace the issue. Thoughts?
I’m really trying to be patient because I love the truck. But damn dude after 5 visits to the service center I might as well have an office in there to work.

Did you try a reset? I’ve only seen this once before in my model three performance many years ago soft reboot fixed it, never happened again.

Several times. The pics shown were after 2 reboots. And today it just blacked out on me while driving. It’s just been annoying. I’ve been able to continue my drives. Touchscreen part still works it’s just you can’t see what you’re touching. Or there are times it’s half the screen and you can’t even back up. Or see rear view. Rebooting somewhat helps but still comes back up. Like you think it’ll be ok but nah it still flickers unpredictably. Also sounds like it resets all the time so you get those beep sounds and the PRNDL controls light up top.

Perhaps just a bad LCD panel then or connection. Sucks, sorry.

That’s exactly what I was thinking too. But I feel the Tesla service just checks one thing and closes out the ticket. It’s annoying because as a CT owner we’re trying to represent how great this truck is but these guys just don’t look thoroughly I believe.
So taking it to another service center for a second opinion. They tell me to capture logs. But they can’t find anything in the logs. It’s weird.

Wow, that's scary. I have never ever seen this in mine (not CT).

Yeah it’s really scary when you have to road trip for 6 hours.
The good news is even if all of that fails everything else is redundant and you’ll just have a regular dumb car at that point. That’s why you have the light up gear selects above your head.

The biggest worry at that point would be not knowing your state of charge!
