Screen Recording on Main Display?

How is Chuck Cook recording his screen here? I'm looking to make a few videos of my experience in different driving scenarios and was wondering how he got this recorded so well!

He and a few other FSD testers (Chris from dirty Tesla is one too) were approached a while back about a HDMI-out hack for the screens. He just has it going to a device that records that HDMI signal. I don’t recall if this was ever productized
