If anyone's interested, mine doesn't rattle and here's the felt piece that came from the factory (52xxx VIN, built on Nov 15, 2024).

Or, try another 2024 CT in inventory. I had a couple issues initially with my "Demo" 2024 Foundation Purchase a few months ago, and Tesla was very responsive in fixing. I have had NO issues and you will LOVE the Cybertruck. Take advance of the 2024 incentives (we love having free supercharging! Especially when the prices jump during prime time!). We also have the Y and now my wife and I just like driving (or should I say FSD "Supervising" :)) the Cybertruck. The Y feels old tech compared to the CT (steer by wire and 4 wheel steering is amazing!). The air ride is also much better! While it is larger, it drives smaller than its size, through parking lots, etc. And when driving in low mode (better aero/range, too), it is not high up like most trucks (it is more like an SUV). I was 100% wrong about the Cybertuck being a gimmick/nonsense triangle design! It reset my brain! I even love the Vault being able to hold more because of the triangle. It is so much better than people realize! And the 50amp (and Powershare) has already been used more than I expected! And it tows much better than expected too! You are on the Frontier! Hang in there, it is worth it!
If you used free Supercharging to charge up your CT and then used your CT to charge your MY.... is it stealing, clever, abuse, or expected?
Asking for a friend...

Tried for second time to take CT delivery, this time for a 37xxx vin FS with all the incentives. Some cosmetic issues present at delivery (cantrail fitment and panel scratch, inner door oxidation) that I was willing to look past but had a nasty dash rattle that surfaced before I even left the lot. The dash rattle has been a pretty common complaint but I didn’t want to take delivery at least until after that is addressed. Deciding next steps after they fix but pretty bummed. There’s nothing else on market that checks the boxes the CT does but I’m struggling to get one delivered without issues. I love the FS incentives but I guess I could go back to a 2025 if that really moves the reliability forward.

GX550 only ICE car remotely interesting as a substitute. Model Y my next electric and I don’t really like/trust the rivians.

Thoughts? Dash rattle remedy pretty straightforward? Does it reoccur? Really trying to avoid a service center queen.
Service was able to fix my dash rattle, there's another thread about it. For me, it was hard to ignore and lovely to have it finally fixed.

I went back this week to pick up again and it still wasn’t sorted. Tech drove it and reproduced the rattle so it’s back in to get it fixed. They think they know how to correct. Ready to have the truck!

The Free Supercharging fine print has language to prevent that. Tesla is probably not going to say anything if it's an occasional incidental thing, but serial abusers will eventually be stopped. Personally, I'm always amazed at how many people scheme to take things that aren't theirs. It can't be a good feeling or be positive for their self-esteem.

Mine has the felt piece and it was built in March 2024.
Not sure when mine was produced (how do you find that?) but I picked up in October 2024.

It also has the felt strip under the column, but still rattles. I moved the wheel inward 2 clicks as suggested, but it still makes the annoying noise over bumps/potholes

You have to ask the service advisor. They can see when it was built.

I agree. This is, to me, the same thing I see people do where they grab all the hot sauce they can for their 2 tacos... or napkins... There's an unwritten rule that the restaurant provides that for your meal... not all your future meals at home.... It's just stealing... same with the charging scenario I posed. I would never do that. I was raised to be honest.

Happy to finally be a member….took delivery of a VIN 37XXX FS today after much effort by the service center to get it right. Hoping for a 7-10 year run and decent reliability.
