Sentry mode is a cool feature l like what it does. I just wish I had more control over it. one thing in particular is the flashing of my head lights and taillights up to full intensity through the night my headlights point directly at my neighbor's house across the street. I would ask them, if it bothers them but they've been avoiding me since I got my cybertruck so yeah, I could do without the lights that flash on a regular basis and I bet my neighbors would appreciate it even more. even some control over motion sensitivity I don't need a video of every car, bike, person, dog or cat that passes by. it needs better threat analysis.

You could buy a truck cover if you're really worried about your neighbours being upset with your new vehicle purchase - though something tells me it's not the lights but perhaps the fact that you own the CT. - Haters are going to hate.

no totally understand that. look I don't really care what they think I play loud music all the time play guitar with my EVH signature guitar, and they do things that I don't like also. like what? well they'er too dam quiet and Clandescent. its more that I don't like the lights to flash I just think its unnecessary I feel like instead of protecting the truck it's like a bacon announcing its location to the world. on the other hand, when a real threat has been detected then do the lights call 911 and everything but only until that happens. we don't need the lights! What I'm saying is not to remove the lights completely from sentry mode but have the option to turn them off and on with more control over the sentry bot.

You can always set sentry to not activate at home. That may not work for you but in my case the truck is under surveillance already by my home camera system when it's at my house. I activated this feature mainly to stop battery drain.

It only flashes if it detects a threat. You can turn off motion detection if it's detecting too many things in your driveway.

It flashes every time I use the app live camera also when it detects motion so to me it appears like it's doing it all the time. but I don't know if it does this when I'm not looking how would I know. again, it's not the frequency or when and how many times. it's the fact that you got no control over something your car is doing, that you don't like. yes, you can turn off sentry mode but i don't want to turn off the rest of the security system. only thing I'm saying is I should have the right to modify the security system if I own it.
