Sentry mode: mind of its own

New to Tesla but I now own two and cant seem to keep Sentry mode from defaulting to “on”. I have turned it off multiple times on the slider under controls but it always seems to turn back on. While it’s not a huge concern right now, it could be when I need to turn it off to conserve battery for a week while it sits in an airport parking garage. Anyone know how to keep this shit off? Thank you
