Sentry mode Recording previews, what's up with this does it work? I have never got any recording previews sent to my phone.

This is my experience as well. I’ve had my truck since August, I only have it off at home and I’m able to access the cameras from the app when it’s on but not one time have gotten a notification or have a saved recording? I’ve done a reset a few times just to see if it solved it but nope

My understanding is the sentry previews will only show when your alarm is activated. Took my truck to Costco to repair nail in tire and when they lifted the truck the alarm went off and it showed in sentry previews!

I've now had 3. All alarms. 1 on my MS and 2 on my CT. They go away once the alarm stops.

I tried it couldn't get it to work either.

So, the sentry mode previews are only sent to your phone when the alarm goes off like someone or something has actually tripped on/off the motion sensor on the car (as in hit the car or moved the car somehow) and does not send previews of any other recording that the system itself perceives as a possible threat worthy of recording it, which is usually any motion near the car. furthermore, it only works with apple phones. what drives me crazy about all this missing info is that it's not made readily available to owners of the truck. and you are led to believe one thing and in the end its nothing.

one more thing to add to the list of empty promises as I'm finding out like a lot of other things on this vehicle. Don't make me start a list and reply to me with (oh yeah like what?) I do have a list.

I have to say that it might appear like most of my content here is negative and like I don't like the cybertruck But I assure you that this is the best car I have ever had the fortune and pleasure of riding or driving. And there is a lot of things about it that I am impressed and happy about.
Maybe it's a personal flaw I give you that but it's things that upset me that will drive me to write about it.
If it's good and happy there is no need to yap about it just enjoy it.

So now my memory stick is full of recordings! I don't know why its full? what's on them? how to review them? Or choose to save any of them? the only option I see or that it's giving me is to reformat the drive and erase everything.

I looked around and could not figure out how to access the drive or its content.
does anyone know how?

Hit dashcam when parked, then you can watch either sentry (when it’s parked) or dashcam (when it’s driving). Delete what you don’t need. If all is well, no damage/missing property, just delete it all to free up space on your flash drive. Most likely it’s just admirers taking pictures or gawking at your beautiful machine.

I think the lights blinking when you access the live camara views has gone away.
I'll have to double check but that's cool I didn't like that. because my lights point straight towards my neighbor's house from my driveway

are you talking about the little Icon at the bottom that looks like a camara lens? when I hit that button, it takes me to live views of my cameras. and I can wash the front bumper camera from here or change what camera to view but thats it! I see nothing that gives me a list of recorded videos.

Make sure you are in park when you hit the camera icon. Once you do that, you should see tabs up top in which you can view sentry videos, dashcam videos, or all.

I just went to try this and found that there are 2 different icons.
One is a hex icon - that only shows current camera views and lets you wash the front camera.
The other is a square icon, with a hex in it - that one lets you see all the recordings.
