Help with Sentry mode not recording

Contacted Tesla support. they had me use a new Flash and format via truck which I did.
Same result. can see Sentry activated and recording on truck screen but NOTHING on Flash.
Like you said restarted without and with. Still does not work.
Tesla stumped.
Going to try an Audio Flash drive today.

Im now having the same issue after buying and installing the 1TB SSD From Tesla. I wasnt having this issue with my 128gb drive that came with my truck. Peculiar enough i recently updated to latest version so i dont know if its a bug in the latest version or the SSD.

I created a service ticket with Tesla for April 11th, takes forever to get an appointment.
Tesla did work with me via messaging to try several things. Nothing worked so they said bring it in.
Tried three (3) different new Flash drives (1T Extreme SanDisk SSD, two separate SanDisk new out of the box 64G Flash drives) and the original flash that came with the CT -- None worked to record Sentry alarms, when CT screen was displaying "Sentry Activated and Recording with a large red eyed bird looking ICON. During that CT screen display always sent all cameras real time video to my Android phone.

All Three flash drives including the one that came with the CT when formatted then programed to Music only folder works. When plugged in the USB icon showed on CT screen and when clicked on would display the MP3s in the Music folder and play.

Bottom line: the USB in the glove box can be READ and play when programed to Music only folder but can NOT RECORD when programed to TeslaCam only folder on a flash drive.

With my M3P, any SSD I tried to use that wasn't the included thumb drive would stop working after a few days. I saw a lot of recommended Samsung SSDs to use, i tried two of them, they didn't work. Thumb drive has never failed me, so even though I wish I had more storage, I just use the original included with my vehicle. I haven't even thought about messing with the drive on my CT after having issues with "upgrading" it on my M3P.

I'll be watching this thread too. I had setup a large flash key, using a method posted here (which I can't seem to find right now). I thought Sentry mode was working. I is not. I want both MP3's on the flash key and teslacam video. Frustrating.

I found the post on how to setup the USB drive here: "https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/usb-music-playback.13936/post-273504". What's interesting is that I just now realized I didn't match exactly what was suggested. So I'll fix it tonight, and see if it works now....

FIXED by Tesla.
Took my Cyber Truck to Tesla and they claim installed a new flash drive and that fixed it.
For some reason I don't understand how that fixed it since I did the same thing.
My guess is they fixed something in the USB port software that we do not have access to.
