I unplugged the Tesla usb stick and plugged back in and went in and turned Sentry on in the actual car and it seems to be staying on now.

Sentry mode has shut itself off repeatedly. I turn it on and find out that at some point it is now turned off. It is not on the main menu so there is zero chance of accidently shutting it off.
Does anyone else have this happening on their truck?
Im betting your USB stick is toast. Thats what causes that. IIWY, go get a Samsung T7 SSD drive... 10:1 that will not only fix your issue but give you a crap ton more space to record (and put your cool music).

I had a Samsung T7 go bad in my Y, sentry mode and dashcam was not stable. Went back to original Tesla USB and things were fine.

Bad SSD... good USB. Usually it's the other way around. USB flash drives are make from crap. SSDs usually have a longer life, especially the 1-2TB ones as they only can overwrite so much. The bigger the drive the longer it will last.
