Side mirrors plastic color fading

My side mirors are looking super bad look old in just 2 months and Just for 600 miles of sun they are going white shadow

some one with this problem..???

is common for a new 100k plus vehicle or the problems are just one after another ??‍??‍

I've had black plastic fade on newish vehicles. Never THAT new, but still. It probably depends on the amount of sun. I've had really good luck with this product. It lasts a long time and you can't tell it's on there other than the plastic is darker like it was originally. It's Outlast Trim & Plastic Restore by Armor. It's cheap on Amazon but probably close if you buy it locally and buying locally helps your community more than purchases from Amazon. Here's a link to it on Amazon.

Looks like product + sun? Pretty sure mine isn't like this but will check in the morning.

It could be a product bleaching it, or it could just be a bad batch of plastic specific to this vehicle. We should see a lot more reports of this if its as the summer progresses if its not a unique situation. If you contact Tesla please let us know what they say.

Mothers plastic restorer should take of that. You would need to apply periodically.

I just noticed some fading on my right side mirror but have never cleaned it with any
product and in the garage a great deal more than out in the sun.
