Ladies and gentlemen,
i Got cantrail recall, knocked on all the panels and tailgate one rattles. Upon delivery, there was a gouge in the plastic trim next to the metal cybertruck logo on the floorboard. The windshield wiper has a mind of its own. Every panel on the truck has extremely rough edges, but all in all, I love this truck. What other things have you'all gotten addressed at your first service? Thanks,
Tom

I’m 7.5mo in and no service issues required. ZERO issues!
I'm 16 months in and have beat the crap out of it on rugged dirt roads and mountain trails. It lives outside in the rain, snow and sun 24/7. No service issues at all. I did take it in to get my winter wheel/tire set installed (purchased with my $2500 Foundation Series store credit) at which time Tesla Service replaced the recalled wiper motor (even though the wiper appeared to be working normally). When all the snow in the mountains melted I put the OEM AT tires and wheels back on in my driveway.

Other than that, and the "self-removal" of numerous plastic wheel fairings (the little fairings that sit in front of each tire), the thing is reliable as hell and still drives and sounds like new. No squeaks, rattles or clunks. It's the first real truck I've owned that is magically "full" every morning when I wake up.

Oh, I did have to add some wiper fluid once! So far I've been successful at getting the Service Center to NOT put a rivet in my accelerator pedal, replace the cant rails or sail panel trim covers (all recalled, but I don't see the problem).

Do you know if the fairing in front of the tires are cosmetic or do they have a purpose? I'm planning on buying the OEM rock sliders when back in stock. I gave myself a day to think about buying and then they were sold out.

Those are for aerodynamics. You'll get a 13-37% reduction in... kidding... they ARE for aerodynamics though.

I have also added wiper fluid AND rotated the tires myself.

had the weather stripping on the tonneau cover replaced, and they did the recall for wiper motor, sail applique replacement, and the panel under the rear seat display was replaced.

Other than that, I've changed the windshield wiper once, and refilled the washer fluid once.

will be asking for the missing toneau slat to be installed soon - cant rails are perfectly fine, have had the truck in all manner of weather over the last 15+ months

They make a significant reduction in drag on the highway.

But I off-road regularly and can't seem to keep them on there! At least Tesla sells them cheaply and doesn't price gouge like a dealership would!

Tonneau cover weather stripping: sounds like the service center replaced it for you? Or, did you DIY it?

they did it - was clearly an adhesive failure. They did it in about 30 minutes from drop off to driving away

I've had, the air suspension replaced, front motor replaced, and a lot of AC work...every time I got a CT loaner and last time my loaner was a FS CB with free supercharging. The only real issue was when it died due to the AC, but they came and got it and gave me Uber credits to CLT.

I know that all sounds terrible, but Tesla did a good job taking care of me to where I only lost a few hours in all of that.
