Kinda liking the idea of a little shitter truck that IDGAF about.
i was just thinking the same thing, if this thing stays at 20k it might be the perfect thing for a beater truck. like going fishing and dont have to worry about keeping it clean. spill some fish guts, oh well, its a beater lol

Yep kind of my thought. I like a transportation piece that doesn't have as much sunk costs. I can leave it, lend it, crash it, and it means a little less to me. Doubt I will get collision depending on total cost over a 4 year time frame. Self insure outside of the liabilities.

Multiple home owner. I want one at each of our places so people don't drive our cars.
X it by 3 of the cheapest thing you can find adds up to some $, and insurance etc.

Man, Tesla had their chance with a $39k truck, but that boat has sailed.
And we are left stranded on the dock, wondering what could have been ...

This was Motor Trend's best guess in September 2019, after Tesla announced that they had a pickup in development, but before the Cybertruck reveal. Yeah, Tesla could probably have put something like that on the market for $39,000.

They musk ;) have thought efficiency was paramount. Reminds me of Truckla from Simone Gertz.
