Spare Tire install delayed again.. Month 3 now

Has anyone received the spare tire? My appointment has been delayed again (3rd time).

Yes. I ordered mine on Aug. 20 when they came back in stock and had it installed on September 6. I had heard about the previous delays in installation so was prepared for the run around for a month or two but it was sent to the Service Center in Urbandale (Iowa) on schedule. Also they performed the two open recalls (wiper and sail applique) at the same visit which was nice.

Same boat as you.

I ordered 7/30 and had 3 rescheduled services. Went in on a service to get it installed just for them to call me 3 hours later while my truck was there that they didn't have the Kit, just the wheel/tire. WTF.

What is up with all these parts shortages and items not being in stock? I know we are past the Covid shortages. Why isn't the manufacture pumping out these parts? It makes no sense.

Its times like these when I think of new business opportunities.
