Most vehicles have something called a differential which splits the power from the central drivetrain to each of the wheels on that axle. Unfortunately, due to the rules of physics if a tire starts slipping, then all of the power goes there and none to the tire that has traction. A locker locks both of them so power is delivered equally on both sides. As someone that has never been offroad or stuck in snow, I am coming clean and admitting I don't even know what "locking differentials" do.
I'm ready to be massacred gentlemen.
A buddy has one. It’s hilarious. You can’t not laugh. We need it.They need Bounce mode like Mercedes .

Mercedesd Benz created a "jumping" mode to help get their SUV models out of mud and sand

This is exactly what Ford did with the Bronco Off-Roadeo. I think every Bronco came with a free ticket to that (or maybe it was just for reservation holders)I wish Tesla would do some sort of driving course similar to BMW except for off-roading

Yet another off road feature that nobody knows how to use? What they need to do is design a winch for it.
