Hey everyone! ?

Just finished a pretty epic long haul with my Cybertruck, and I gotta say — the sun and heat were relentless. Tried a bunch of quick fixes to stay cool and keep the interior from turning into an oven:

Slapped on some reflective sunshades for the windshield and side windows
Tossed on some DIY window covers for extra privacy and heat reflection
Wrapped reflective tape around the side mirrors (because why not?)
Slapped on UV window film — pretty sure it saved my skin and my interior

Honestly, these worked okay, but I know there’s gotta be smarter, cooler ways — especially custom-fit stuff made just for our Cybertrucks’ crazy shapes.

So, I gotta ask:

What’s your go-to sun protection hack?
Any must-have accessories or tricks you swear by?
Or maybe you wish your truck had some secret weapon to fight the sun?
Drop your tips, tricks, and wild ideas below!

And hey — I’ve got a feeling there are some awesome new solutions coming soon that’ll make our Cybertrucks even more sun-proof. Stay tuned! ?☀

I have a trip planned (So Cal to Tennessee and back) in July, so driving through the desert in the middle of summer was definitely on my mind. I went ahead and got the following tint to maximize heat rejection. So far, it's working; albeit it's not 100+ degrees in California now, but driving when it's in the 80s-90s is not too bad.

Great choice with the tint! The 3M Nano Ceramic IR is top-notch. Hope it keeps you cool and comfortable all the way through Tennessee and back.

I also bought a sun roof shade https://a.co/d/0mZPt9P (never have used it). I also bought one of these windshield shades https://a.co/d/3itbdJH but used it 3 times, it’s a pain in the ass to unfold and fold back up each time you get in the truck so these both live in the bed of the truck.
