Switching order to FS cyberbeast - Any tips?

If you have managed to convert from FS AWD to FS Cyberbeast what was the magic that made it happen? I've been back and forth texting letting them know I wasn't very happy with AWD given the multiple ways in which the extra $20K package has been been converted into a badge and a few trunk accessories (Delayed FSD, reduced cost of FSD when it happens, cyberwall install rippoff etc). Although I have the VIN they said I could put my order on hold but gave no answers as to what that will actually mean in terms of place in line basically I was told " tough take it or leave it". If I had gone with the FS cyberbeast my timeline was delivery end of year. Which when you consider FSD is likely only going to appear then seems like less of sham in terms of getting what you pay for even if it is a bit more and a longer wait. BY the time you include the $4K credit for cyberwall the gap closes even more.

Here is the scoop

If you have already placed the $1000 deposit and received a VIN there is no way to switch the order back to a reservation.

It’s either take delivery now, delay until they match you with the next VIN. or cancel the order.

They will however let you use the $1000 towards another Tesla

So, I have an update. It really depends who you get on the end of the support chat. Some of those guys have no business doing that job. Today I got a response from someone very helpful. They changed my order to a cyberbeast FS just like that. The only caveat being I chose the grey interior so it’s likely a few months out instead of getting the awd next week. I’m happy to wait given the lack of features in the current version. I’ll still be getting a foundation series and hopefully with everything I paid for by then.
