This error code popped up the other day; reducing adaptive ride control. Overall not too big of a deal, because the CT drove fine it's just the ride was slightly rougher because the rebound dampers were not dampening.
My CT had accumulated some ~150miles in the DFW area over the past week, and had so much salt, sand, snow, and ice debris all over it. I figured I'd take it through a touchless car wash before bringing it in for service..... et voila..... almost immediately the errors went away and we were back to normal.
I suspect some salt got into a connector and was jumping a couple pins, but that's total speculation. I couldn't even find a way of getting to the rebound damper valve or its connector without major surgery.
Codes received...
TAS_a170_damperValveRbndRL
TAS_a314_dampingReduced
DI_a250_tasSpeedLimitActive
