Does anyone have this cover from Tesla? I’m thinking about buying it but not sure the premium is worth it over the other options.. does anyone use a car cover? My truck is likely gonna sit in the driveway and be used on weekends only.

Hopefully you're not wrapping the truck. I've heard the covers potentially messing with the wrap, especially colored PPF. Here's a review of the Tesla Cover that I found on this forum: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/cybertruck-oem-car-cover-installed-review-photos.31000/

Honestly I would just let it sit out in the elements. I'm a short guy so taking this cover on/off each week would be a pain..

Other alternatives would be something on Amazon or this one from Tesmanian for a third of the price. https://www.tesmanian.com/products/tesla-cybertruck-car-cover

I would love to find cover where I can access all my cameras when sits on driveway. I like to record videos when cover is on.

I use a cover. The one I bought is black with some green stripes that are probably reflective, and it cost about $86. Pretty happy with it. The OEM one looks a lot better. However I think the review posted above mentioned the OEM one seemed a bit easy to tear? And it is about five times the cost.

I feel both the OEM and my cover…I feel they don’t look great. I wish we could get a cover that somehow tightly adhered to the top surface of the truck, extending to the vertical sides of the truck.

I guess what I want is something that leaves the truck protected, especially the top surface somewhat from sap etc. but leaves the truck looking like the truck.

Here is an image that Grok made me. I need to get to an appointment-so rushed a bit. So it isn’t what I want, but it gives you a feel. Maybe MY cover could be kept in place using magnets?

My dream would be a cover that tightly adhered to the top surfaces of the truck, and maybe, or maybe not, included the side glass and ended just below the glass on the vertical surface of the truck.

Thanks for sending the Link to the Original Thread.. I did a search but I somehow missed that. I agree with Posters above that its probably going to be too big of a hassle for weekly coverings but I look at it like a boat cover. Take it off when in use then put it on for storage. At the end of the day I just want to try and protect the interior and exterior plastics/rubber from Sun Damage.. I may just do a good ceramic tint and then get one of those windshield covers.
