I'm actually waiting to do mine, we've had a lot of snow and salt on the road, so the truck needs a full detail before I can apply it and it's way too cold to wash it. Can you apply this coating on the plastics too or should it be masked off and avoided?

No need to mask. You can coat the plastic parts and resin parts too. You can also apply it on chrome parts too and the rims. And headlights taillights. No need to coat the tires, because ceramic coatings will not react on rubber. You can also coat the windows, but we recommend you not to coat the windshield as wipers glide smoothly when wet, so if you coat the windshield, the wipers may vibrate when used.
