Two Features Id love TESLA to Add

[The Tumbler]

1. The first one I am shocked doesn’t already exist as part of the native mapping system… I’d love to see the location other Teslas in our “fleet” on the map as you drive, sorta like Find my friends. My wife has a Y, my dad an X, my mother in law a Y, countless friends with Tesla’s… it would be great on road trips to be able to see their locations on the map.

2. I do a fair amount of towing with the CT. Camp trailer, boat, utility trailer. I rely heavily on the side view mirrors. I have my mirrors set to fold in at home AND angle down in reverse. I don’t need EITHER of these when towing. I’d love to have a setting when in tow mode it ignores those side mirror settings…

1. It would be neat to at least have a convoy type of setting where the cars talked. Maybe you activate convoy mode and the second car "follows" the first. I get there are privacy concerns. Hey, in this convoy mode, it'd neat to have some kind of priority talking system like walkie talkies. So many road trips have involved one person speeding up beside the other to try to get the "She has to go. Now!" signal. Cell phones, sure. But a button you press and just talk would be epic especially if you have more than 2 cars in the convoy.

This would be kinda cool... like if your behind another CT you can talk to them and give them the obligatory 10-4 good buddy...

I heard, and it could be rumor, or more likely it was a company not Tesla. But they said that this is would be step 2 of autonomous truck driving. Have the first semi a real driver, or at least a supervised FSD system, and then up to 3 other trucks would follow with no drivers. They would follow the commands of the first truck, linking it it's cameras, and could follow at 2-3 foot distance, creating improving aero.

I would love to see this as an option to enable. Maybe the screen gives a notice when you join a convoy or are in one. Perhaps if two people are on the highway in fsd they can automatically link up. This would especially be cool on longer roadtrips to increase efficiency. I imagine it could also be safer since it would be like having one vehicle with two computing units and double the cameras.

I could see allowing this with this type of promts:
1. Enable Convoy to destination?
2. Nearby Tesla detected (within your group/public person) with similar destination.
3. Do you want to convoy? [this will allow convoy vehicles access to your current destination but not your point of origin or any personal information other than your vehicle name]
4. [Insert Tesla vehicle name here] has requested to convoy. Convoy? or not.

Anyway, something like that. Maybe you set up your "I can be found" type of thing before your trip and then anyone else with the Convoy set to "Join convoys going my direction" can select you to join.

Safeguards would have to be in place for speed, idiots just being idiots, etc.

MAYBE, you can only convoy if you are on the same Tesla account.

My wife has been saying this for years. It would be super useful since most of our friend’s have teslas with FSD
