So I’m thinking of upgrading from my AWD to the cyberbeast and transfer my FSD before the 3/14 cutoff. I got the awd not sure I would like it, and love it. In retrospect had I known I would have gotten the beast.
Q1. Has anyone done this upgrade going from awd to beast? Was it worth it or not really?
Also I love the breadth of driving character of the awd. From sport mode to off road Baja/overland, the breadth of good handling is crazy. I do love how well the truck “sits” in canyon driving on twisty roads with the all season tires in sport mode.
Q2. Has anyone upgraded from the all season wheels to the All-terrain/off-road wheels? Does the car still “sit“ as sporty and well handling in sport mode, or is the car a bit more “squishy” with the all terrain/off road wheels? Was the upgrade worth it or not really?
I know you lose like 20 miles of range, which doesn’t bother me. I’m more concerned with how compromised the regular road/parent driving is with the upgraded wheels.
Thanks for any insights!
