VIN / Email notification - Question

Those who have received VINs, did you instantly receive an email notification when it was assigned or was it randomly available in the app with no email notification?

I'm tired of manually checking each day and would rather just wait for the email if they send it immediately or soon after.

Randomly in the app. It was 5 days ago and still that's the only way I would know. No text, email, or phone call about it.

I think if you finance you might get an email about it.

Received VIN in app on a Friday afternoon (just happened to check), then got a text 2 days later, saying the VIN was assigned.
