Vinyl or PPF near Philly

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section. But, I recently picked up my Cybertruck and interested in a color change. Anyone have recommendations for the Philadelphia area?

Don’t know about a particular spot but will advise you to go PPF. It’s thicker and will last several years longer. Vinyl will easily tear (especially against SS) and you will find that you will have to replace an entire panel several times before you realize it’s a burden. The plus is that there are many more colors in vinyl, but in the end you will pay a lot more for PPF. Plus PPF has a self healing quality. Take it from me who had to learn this the hard way.

Wait !?!?! You got a cyber truck in Philly!?!?! Devon? I heard there weren’t any deliveries in PA yet. Can you give your order date vin date and delivery date details? are you a Tesla employee? This just means the information on the forums delivery and vin pages aren’t correct.

info on the forums are correct, ive had this on the pending delivery thread for weeks, PA is VIP only so far from our records. did you miss this thread ?

Thanks, yes I saw this. I just didn’t assume the poster was VIP and they also said they just picked it up yet map already had PA active prior to this post, so I must have missed this users name in the spreadsheet. Hoping this could be a normal civilian, as a sign I might get mine soon.

I was leaning towards color ppf. I am thinking that’s the way to go

My reservation was somewhere in the first 7k. Got the foundation email on 12/8, ordered 12/9. Can’t remember when I got my vin but it was about 2 weeks before I picked it up on Friday. Non employee so I was pretty surprised when when I got my vin. Wasn’t expecting to get it so soon

Wow! So are you a “VIP” in any way? If not the delivery map should change! This should mean within 60 days folks can get their Vins delivery within 90 days of ordering even if they are in the north east states!!!

Yea, if @Dk9927 confirms to us that he's not an influencer or employee or special in any way, or lived in a different state when he ordered, then ill update the map for PA.

How is the truck holding up? Does the range and truck in general do well in the colder weather?
