When is VIN assigned? (UTAH)

I was always under the impression that VINs get assigned while the truck is on the assembly line.

However, I see ~10 cybertruck a parked at the Pleasant Grove, UT service center. They have been there for awhile and I’m trying to figure out if they all have assigned VINs or if it’s possible that Utah customers have not gotten an assigned VIN but one of these trucks could be there’s…? Does anybody have any insight here?

For general info:
State: Utah
12/26 config date
VIN: unassigned

I am also in Utah. I visited the 10 trucks in PG yesterday. To try and answer your question DumpsterFire is from Utah and took delivery of his truck from PG around March 2. He got his VIN around Feb 26. He got a truck that was already at the SC when he was told his VIN. It doesn’t happen that way for everyone.

Have you seen the cybertruck.vin website? The site looks better for me on my computer than my phone but some interesting state specific data there.
