The charging of the CT vs the MX is quite a bit slower in terms of miles of range per hour. Is this due to the bigger battery and higher energy consumption? I’m getting around 25miles vs 35miles on my home charger.

Yeah, Wh/mile and also the (conservative?) charge curve. Pack size helps change rate.

If you look at the average Wh/mile on both vehicles, you'll find that the Cybertruck is significantly higher. It takes more energy for the Cybertruck to go a mile than it does a Model X.

Roughly put, the Cybertruck will get about 2/3 of the range per kWh, which looks to be what you are seeing. The Cybertruck has a battery that is about 123 kWh, which is bigger than the Model X.

Less efficiency needs bigger battery to have the same range.
