I guarantee someone will try to blame us for the damage at some point, saying the truck shouldn’t be so hard and it should flex a little when a door opens into it or some nonsense.
If that happens, it would be sad commentary on the way those kinds of people think today.

The new breed doesn't want to make great things happen, instead, they want to blame everyone but themselves for their own problems. They expect someone else to do everything for them. Because they think they are entitled and special.

I'm just not so sure it goes as far as thinking they should be able to open their door into a super-hard stainless steel truck and blame the damage resistance of the Cybertruck for the damage to their own soft, mild steel door.

I know the new mind disease is strong, but I don't think it will rise to that level. In fact, I observe the pendulum is already starting to swing the other way. Thank our lucky stars!

That how it goes. Like a lot of people hate the cybertruck for no good reason and most have never driven one. If they did it hard to hate all the features.
Features are good, but what sets the Cybertruck apart for me, is the underlying structure. It's strong and rigid and corrosion resistant. And I would follow that closely by the software interface. Because that largely defines what it's like to use on a daily basis.

The stiff chassis and supple, fully adjustable suspension is what makes it drive so nicely. It can respond to changes in the road in microseconds.

I hope you are joking because it's their fault if they damage their doors on your Cybertruck.

The natural toughness and dent resistance is one of the best things about Cybertruck's exoskeleton, you can park it in tight spots without worrying about door dings (even if they have a beater and try to ding your door). It won't even leave a mark. If some of their paint rubs off, it will come off with a little Sprayway glass cleaner and a rag or some bronze wool.
I still park at the furthest spot alone. Specially at Home Depot. I just feel like so many haters even if you are barely on the line someone will get pissed and act like “this intitled rich prick thinks he’s special let me do . I something to his truck ! I guess I do that also with my M3. Just way to many disrespectful haters out there , honestly would rather get my fender dented in then a door ding because repair is easier. People don’t respect other peoples sht anymore! Big reason I miss my duramax it was just so high no one could even door drink it if they wanted too ?

I sure hope you’re right! People must get tired of being pathetic eventually.

While I own a CT (and a gas RAM 1500) I think all the electric trucks are great.

My definition of basic truck functionality has changed to include acceleration, tight turning circle, home backup, powering my RV, powering my tools, powering my ski boot warmer. It always has included being able to drive across the country, or tow a significant load, but I've never had to do both at once.

This month I'm seeing tuck-of-the-year reviews where the reviewers actually try the cybertruck on its merits for the first time, but they still haven't changed their review criteria to power your tools or anything. When they do the electric trucks will win. My other disappointment is that the cybertruck is generally the only electric truck they include.

  • The Lightning is cheap.
  • The GMC has fancy tailgate and midgate and range and 4 wheel steer.
  • The Rivian is a better Gladiator.
  • The CT has full supercharging, steer by wire, 4 wheel steer, nice bed and tonneau, and the best electric output for tools/homes/RVs of the lot.
  • The BYD PHEV is cheap and sized for Australia.
Say cybertruck in the title you get views. Since every one has something to say about it they heard . The other no so many views
