Winter Tire Options coming in August

TSportline let me know they expect winter tire packages to come in late summer. Specifically they said: "we will be offering Blizzak and Nokian Hakkapelitta 3 tires. Once they are available to order, I'd be glad to follow up with you to review different options."

I have Hakka 3s and Blizzaks on two vehicles and both are pretty incredible on snow and ice. I have the worst hill in sourthern vermont so this is saying something!

This is fantastic news. I had contacted them a couple months ago and their answer was "We'll look into that request." Looks like they followed through big time. For anyone that has never experienced the difference Hakkapeliittas make in extreme winter snow and ice driving, you should if you ever are going to be driving under such conditions. They absolutely kick ass.

I noticed the other day that they already allow you to order some of their 20" wheel/tire packages with Nokian Hakka LT3's. I ran a set of those in winter back when I had a Ford Transit and they were amazing in winter (note it is pretty flat around here, but completely frozen 4-5 months out of the year).

I'm not sure what I'll do this fall as I love having dedicated winters, but I also like the option to drive south during the winter without tearing up my tires. For my Model Y I went with Falken Wildpeaks during the winter months which are a decent compromise. Decisions, decisions ...
