I have been having an absolute blast and admiration for this vehicle. This has honestly been one of those moments where I could “run to the rooftops and shout” why the average truck owner doesn’t see the masterpiece before their eyes.
Steve Jobs once said, in response to an aggressive developer, why Apple doesn’t include all these “nerd-centric” developments to their products. Steve’s response:
“… you can’t make everyone happy. I’m sure he’s right about all the specifics of adding these features. However, a product has to be as simple as grabbing it, showing it, and asking: Do you want this?”
In this case it was the matrix printer. When customers could see the revolutionary way a product could change their life, that was the answer.
The Cybertruck is the same, however it’s not an easy vehicle to demonstrate, therefore it fell short - especially with its initial price. No one understands it, until they experience the bread crumbs which Hansel & Gretel have left behind. It’s the culmination of all the small things which produce an overall experience that builds the bigger picture.
For now, I will imagine others driving around in their Model Ts while I’m driving around in my W124 Mercedes-Benz 500E 6.0 AMG.
P.S. Feel free to post your own pics of the moment it all "clicked" or when it was "love at first sight".
