My DRL light bar wrap by Cyberswag (letters cutouts)

Tell us a little about the install process. How hard was it to remove the drl? Do you think it could have been accomplished without that or was that a must?

I would say yes to removing the DRL, which involves also removing the front panel of the Frunk. Here’s a very good video
Once removed, bring the DRL inside and clean it and have a helper keep sone tension on the wrap as you center and apply the wrap.
the wrap covers the top and bottom of the DRL that you wouldn’t see, but this blocks light bleed through, making it look very professional.
it took me a bit over 1 hour. Tip: always finger start the nuts, then tighten with a power tool. Or risk wrecking a nut by cross threading

Another option is a 'negative" of your 'STARSHIP'.....gives me the idea that you could apply individual letters like C Y B E R T R U C K ....anything really.
You would then have most of the light bar on show.

That’s a good thought. I wonder if you could actually read the letters with the light on (is it too blinding to make it legible?)?
The vender can make custom cut outs too to suit your individuality. My wife joked about those with “MY BMW” license plates…how creative! Not…

LOL. You made me go back and look at the pictures to see what he did with the DRLs. Then, I realized you meant the light bar. Common mistake. The DLRs are down by the turn signal.

By excess you mean the top and bottom? Mine has quite a bit above and below the lettering. It’s substantially wider than the face of the lightbar. Any bleedthrough? If it’s not too much trouble, would you please post a photo of yours with the light on similar to @Sandman1962 ? Trying to decide which is the best approach for my install and it would be nice to see both.

Correct, removed the excess from the top, bottom and sides but left just enough to tuck it in.
