I’m not sure why people are still customizing their Cybertrucks with rgb lighting and underglow that went out of style 10+ years ago.

RGB LED do not cost this much.. soon as the china people come out with one it will be $500. i will just wait. like everyone said most state do now allow RED or BLUE unless u want a nice ticket
Exactly. The other issue is resealing. Every year at the Sema Show I see dozens of fogged up headlights from shops that have customized them and failed to seal them properly.
Someone will make an entire aftermark DRL Lightbar with these integrated and having to cut open or reseal the factory Lightbar won’t be an issue

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say, and for some following what is or isn’t in style isn’t a priority because they have moved beyond caring what others think about them I would think.

It’s his/her/their truck, so if they aren’t hurting anyone, who cares?

For instance, when i see pickups with insane lift jobs and giant tires used as street vehicles for no practical reason and pointless extra pollution, I sometimes am overwhelmed with the urge to shout “Sorry about your penis!!” at the top of my lungs but who am I to judge? Their thing is their thing and my thing is mine and aside from the pollution harm which i can leave out of this if they aren’t harming anyone else they can rock on with their bad selves.

So in terms of the underglow kits, for some they are out of fashion. For others they are cool. Bellbottoms came back, maybe it’s time for a resurgence of underglow? If they are off-roaders then rock lights can be a practical thing and those can be confused / mistaken for underglow by some folks.

my two cents

Cheers

I get that but this is $100k + vehicle that looks futuristic. Putting cheap RGB Chinese chasing LEDs all over it is peak retard. Regarding your opinion of lifted trucks, that’s still in style and being done. Nobody’s doing this rgb nonsense, not even the high school kids on their first Honda anymore
Autozone accessories have and will never look good on cybertrucks. It’s similar to putting chrome moulding trim all over your vehicle

I guess i’m not much for following trends and prefer to just be me regardless of whether many others are doing what i’m doing or not or like what i’m doing or not.

I do appreciate the diversity of opinions on this forum, though. It’s refreshing.

cheers

COB LED strips facing down onto the lightbar as well as facing up on the lightbar. Just pull the lighbar and place the LED strips and put the lightbar back. Nothing intrusive here. Very simple. Here is how to get at it (not a YouTuber, so level your expectations).
