Are you aware that Tesla has yet to achieve Level 3?
Do you know how many years full featured was promised for "later this year"?
Are you interested in learning about some fantastic real estate investment opportunities?
A/ Yes
B/ Yes
C/ :ROFLMAO:

Are you aware of the other 24 company's or so, that are racing along with Tesla to get to Lv 5 Autonomy ?

Are you aware of the ones who have already achieved it !
Although its limited in where and how its available, (far from being applied commercially ubiquitously).

Are you aware of Mobile eye and their stake in the ground about having a Robotaxi service in Tel Aviv by qtr 1, 2022 ? (now you are )

Do you know who Mobile eye is backed by ?

P.S.
Like I said, it costs you zero right now to order your Cybertruck with it.

But I take your point, its a much tougher decision if I was buying a different Tesla, and taking
delivery in a couple of months !

I don't know what the little funny faces are supposed to mean. Are you interested in the land or not?

Seriously though I know lots of people have been dreaming about what AI might do since the days of Norbert Wiener (and let's not forget Dr. Spalanzani). The thing I find most interesting is that the big breakthrough is always do "later this year". But my experience with AI, professionally and from driving Tesla cars that have it, makes it manifestly clear than barring some deus ex machina there ain't gonna be no Level 5 capability in the CT truck I'll take delivery on (though I am sure it will be available by the end of the year).

All that said, I have ordered it because I too am hopeful.

Good point. I wonder how much it'll help with those long drives. I also drive an F-350 (It's for sale right now, btw. LOL)
If you are just talking about lane centering and adaptive cruise control then I think you'll find it very nice. Especially if your adaptive cruise goes all the way down to a stop. It makes the drive really nice. I once drove my Highlander back from Redding CA in the middle of the night (which was a mistake) and I think those features bailed me out. But I'm pretty sure all automakers (including Tesla) require you to keep a hand on the wheel. My Toyota does.

They do. The manual is full of caveats warning that this is beta software. That's why I am so astounded at the gullibility of so many. I've seen people on this forum who have ordered 5 thinking they are going into the robotaxi business.

I am glad that I preorder with the FSD option. I do not know if I will use it that much; I really enjoy driving, but I wanted to make sure that I have the option to let the vehicle drive itself while on long distance road trips.

I don’t get why so many complaints...it’s an option, just let it go, and be happy with the free driving assist.
I’ve driven both regular lane keep and speed control and there is no comparison to FSD.
My model S has FSD from last year ($6000) and the upgrades just keep coming on line. Really, what you are paying for at purchase is something you will receive in the future. I’m glad that I have FSD because my trade-in value for the CT will be that much more valuable.

Assuming the fsd transfers over to the new owner. My only complaint is the promised timelines. Example: Elon says something like feature complete fsd withen a year. But it's like legal talk. Perhaps to tesla Feature complete means internally they have designed and made all the features necessary for level5. But that dosnt mean we will get lvl 5 anytime soon.

I am pretty sure Tesla has said FSD does not transfer.

I had it on my CyberTruck reservation from the beginning.

All it has to do is prevent one accident for it to be worth it.

I am also not sure why so many people are negative about FSD. Though the timeline has slipped, improvements keep happening, and features that were rubbish when they first were released have gotten better.

It is not like there has been no progress and nothing but empty promises.

It will be interesting to figure out what I would want to do, hypothetically, with my truck when I am not using it, the cybertaxi service or the rumored vehicle to grid service. I am sure the potential to make money is more for the cybertaxi, but making money while my CyberTruck just sits, not having to worry about children (or adults) who got sick, overflowed their diaper, and/or threw food around while riding around in the CyberTruck. Even if they are caught on camera and will have to pay to have it cleaned...

I would like to know if FSD transfers with the sale of a car. If so I might buy a model y and then sell it when Cyber truck comes out. If FSD does not transfer then the value of the model y in two to three years is in question. Anyone know the answer?

Yikes. I edited my order to add FSD. I'm still not sure I want it, but I suppose it doesn't cost extra to lock in the $7K price while we are waiting.
I agree, I just did the same.....also wondering if I should upgrade my M3. I was happy to see that my reservation number did not change after editing my cybertruck order.

Took a quick online used Tesla look, and many advertise w/FSD.

So I am at work for 11 hours and my truck would just be sitting there. With FSD how will the cybertaxi work? Will I sign up for it and Tesla controls the hand off of my truck to someone and charges them and goes into an account for me? Want guarentees the truck is back when I need it to go home? What happens if I decide to leave early or have to run an errand I did not plan for.?

I see the income potentail but confused on how the system will work? Any links to go read our YouTube video's to watch?

Here are some videos:

The Now You Know YouTube channel did a whole series about the effects it might have.

But I think most of us assume that you will be able to set parameters in the Tesla app of when the car will be available and when you need it back by and with how much range.
