Other than the CyberTruck - I would like an LED readout on the top light bar that doubles as a message board.
And display in mirror image so the asshole in front can read it in their rear view mirror?

I have.

I like the wiper feature and don’t have a lot of issues with it.

I guess people’s experience varies.

I just want to point out that claiming “Expertise” on a subject this way is a douche move in a conversation and puts people’s backs up. It is the opposite of coming to a meeting of the minds.

I live in the PNW. We‘ve had 5 solid months of rain. There are not a lot of areas in the country that get more consistent rain than we do. Claiming you have some special knowledge of “Dirty Mist” or Salted roads or whatever just makes you look like a tool.

Unless they’ve changed this, you can always over-ride the high beams. It just switches into auto-high beam mode every time you engage autopilot.

If you have specific instructions, regarding high beams there is nothing preventing you from doing it. I do all the time.

As I said in the top of the post you just replied to.

I guess people’s experience varies.
I can’t say what you experience in your car.

What I can say is we get a fuckton of rain and the wipers are fine for me.

Either there is some issue with your car, conditions are different there, or your preferences are different from ours.

The issues you seem to have with your high beams don’t make a ton of sense since you can adjust them with the levels easily.

EDIT: For tone.

Technically it should be possible to reprogram the momentary wiper button on the stalk to change wiper speeds with a double press or long press. You can also do a double tap to set the speed. So tap once for turning on, and whilst running tap once again and then a second time with desired interval. Easy, no extra buttons, just some OTA code.

You can control high beams from a lever. Are you trying to turn the lights off while driving?

Likewise, wipers can be triggered from the stalk, as can the sprayer. You do need the screen to control speed I guess.

Who opens their glovebox “Hourly”?
Stalks are gona in CT tho

It's clear from your post that you didn't see I live in Colorado. We get weather as bad as anywhere else. It's really not that hard to tap the stalk button and then set the speed on the windshield wiper.

If you're in a position where you are engaging and disengaging autopilot or cruise a lot (the only way you would have the ai wiper takes back over) you should maybe just not use it until visibility improves?

I agree the ai wiper sucks but you're making it out to be much worse then it is.

Double tap to cycle through speeds is a good idea.
