I use one of these depending on the situation. both are nearly effortless to lift a vehicle and much safer than a hi lift. The ARB jack weighs about 80% less than a hi lift. The pro eagle doesn’t care about water, mud, sand etc being all over it and mostly won’t sink.
That ARB jack looks great.
I’m wondering if Tesla will make an electric one or if ARB would make a compressor adapter.

I am only on page 3. Anybody know if the heat pump will be 48VDC? Solar will be a little easier at 48VDC. There are lots of 24VDC panels that can be placed in series.

Even if there wasn't a super efficient way to get power back into the traction pack you would still gain range with less battery going to HVAC and other drains.

4mm stainless brush guard.
Looks > range. ?
I am getting a TIG welder for sure. I might weld shit all over my CT just because. If I change my mind just grind it off and fill it in. Now I just need the harness map to avoid cooking that 48VDC architecture.

A PTO on a CT is called an extension cord.
I agree, as often as the power goes out people are sure willing to spend a ton of money. In 15 years we only lost power for a couple 2 day stretches. I was able to keep my freezer going with just an old school RV battery and inverter set up.

PTO would require drive-train integration, not something you can bolt on later.
Some farmer will rig a belt drive right off the tire. Just because. With the air suspension you might be able to elevate one wheel.

Other than the CyberTruck - I would like an LED readout on the top light bar that doubles as a message board.
Ohh I would get in trouble with this one and probably need the bullet resistance features. But I love it.

I have.

I like the wiper feature and don’t have a lot of issues with it.

I guess people’s experience varies.

I just want to point out that claiming “Expertise” on a subject this way is a douche move in a conversation and puts people’s backs up. It is the opposite of coming to a meeting of the minds.

I live in the PNW. We‘ve had 5 solid months of rain. There are not a lot of areas in the country that get more consistent rain than we do. Claiming you have some special knowledge of “Dirty Mist” or Salted roads or whatever just makes you look like a tool.
Wow. Foul.

What? Adjustable turn signal cancellations? The turn signals on my M3 are a top 5 of minor annoyances. I will have to look at settings.
I agree the auto wipers are not perfect at all. Utah has a ton of salt wash. It either builds up too slow for the sensor or is wiping dry windows too often. My daughter is still getting used to the car. She was wondering why all the snow was blue on the windshield. ( from messing with the wiper settings from the stalk.)

I would settle for direct PV DC inputs in the truck that let you series up to something like 1000V so you can bring your own panels and set them up however you want. all that stuff is pretty plug and play anyway. I would rather not add something attached that adds a bunch of weight.
Solar glass roof plus DC inputs. A solar tonneau was always going to be difficult.

If I recall, I heard the Bots would use the 48V architecture. It makes sense to try to keep the equipment at Tesla "standard". I believe all new vehicles will be 48V. I am not sure they will go back and make changes to existing vehicles (e.g., the semi, X, S, 3, Y). Based on the evolution of the model Y, for example, you never know what could be next.
12V is dead. It will take a few years but everybody will switch. Just like 4680 cylindrical batteries will likely become the norm.

If you are crossing two lanes in one move (illegal in many states), it's still two commands on the turn signal lever, the same as if you initiated the turn signal before the first lane change and then just left it on as you crossed multiple lanes, and then had to turn it off. A skilled driver treats each lane change as a seperate event (both to comply with the law and to provide more certainty to other motorists in the immediate vicinity as to what is going on).

But, yeah, most drivers are not that skilled and don't pay very close attention and that's why people die so often, even on our very safe and well-designed Interstates.
People are lucky if I signal at all. Running down the road with a false blinking turn signal is just about as bad as no signal. Turn signals need to read my mind.

Don't underestimate Tesla. With vertical integration culture you will be surprised how fast they can do this. The inherent improvement of 48V will go a long way towards making up short term deficiencies.

None of those vehicles you mentioned that require custom designs will have the production volume or interest from people with significant disposable income.

Tesla has always been quite content letting the aftermarket look after niche solutions. Legacy manufacturers increase complexity and reduce profit margins with optional extras because they acquire the extras from external suppliers.

Tesla just removes itself as the middleman for options that aren’t universal appealing, only taking profit from their own ingenuity.

What 48v accessories are you looking forward to?

I don't think this has been mentioned, but an actual option I have installed in a vehicle in the past is a center console safe/vault. It would be nice to have this safe as an option, secured to the Cybertruck's integral frame and equipped with a biometric lock.

It would be a place to store high value or potentially dangerous items when not secured (or when not concealed on one's person)... for example, a firearm comes to mind. I think this would especially be of interest to any LEO's or police departments considering the CT.
That massive dash would be a good location for something like that. Hard to break into simply for its location. Always visible to the driver, and easy access when you decide you need to get into a gun fight on the highway. Reconfigured to be bullet proof would provide extra protection after the windscreen when lifted.
