video to the rear will be on the screen as it is now in all their other cars probably.
Provided an example of my car for those that do not own a Tesla yet.

This is not an acceptable solution. Digital display mirror should be standard. 1.) visibility out the rear window is garbage for a traditional mirror 2.) Power vault cover is included and closed should be the default method of drive.

I like the idea of the front camera automatically coming on when a vehicle is close in front and in drive. We saw this in the Raising Cane DT picture with ambient lighting. Hopefully automatic or will be in an update later on.

Arm rest would be a better location but I like the idea. ? ??

Dropdown shotgun/long gun storage in the roof beam too!

What kind of display were you expecting...?

Based on what's in the marketplace now, I'm imagining something closer to GM's current offering:

It doesn't have to be that large, but I think it would be a little thicker than what appears to be in the CT now. I could be (and hopefully) wrong, but that's seriously thin to have both a reflective mirror and a digital mirror.

FSD 12.o confirmed. No steering wheel!
Help me out digital gearheads… no spline shaft on the column in my day meant no mechanical linkage to the gear box, that would confirm digital steering. Anybody with expertise on the topic of what lies behind a modern day steering wheel with airbags, please correct me.

Do you drive forward like that on a regular basis? I tried and it was a no-go for me. I'd rather have other information on the screen while moving.

I wonder if they run the BIW through a black EDP (Electrophoretically Deposited Paint) bath and call it good. Some of the Cybertruck parts will require paint.

It's indeterminate if the pictured Cybertruck has a steering column or not. But, I see what you are saying about the steering column (if there is one) having no spline. Odd, indeed. From the videos I've seen, the steering is WAY too fast at times to be mechanical. It seems to be electronic steering.
