Really bad choice if that's a vehicle you want to keep, and drive for many years.

Reminds me of a time I was camped out in Baja, 38 miles on a dirt road from the pavement. This was a popular windsurfing spot in the 90's. Anyway, one afternoon we're hanging out in camp and a new person comes driving by, and takes his brand new pickup down to the ocean. Everyone was blown away when this guy drove in the ocean and parks about 20 yards offshore. He gets out and proceeds to wash off all the dirt on his pride and joy. The consensus around camp was that the guy had just destroyed his truck.

Hopefully this was a throwaway RC Cybertruck (if not, it will probably end up being a throwaway).

Not much worse than a typical winter drive here in the Midwest...

This is what happens when you give car people a truck. Where I live on the Gulf, corrosion happens just by being near the beach.

Sadly, since looks to be a sure thing that CT has black iron for a "frame" (despite claims of an exoskeleton), it's likely to rust out really badly after an event like this. Of course, I have no idea what the minds at Tesla may have cooked up to stop rust under the exo, but I sure as hell ain't driving mine into the ocean. I own an '03 F150 rust-o-matic, not looking to up my losses to Cybercancer.
