It worked perfectly since updated, including yesterday afternoon. It stopped working in the evening, and this morning even after I rebooted twice plus a trick I learned from someone here(turn off FSD, move the the car a little bit, then turn it on). The strange thing is that I got the warning “ take control immediately “ multiple times as if I was using FSD. Does anyone experience similar problem? Any fix?
Thanks!

As suggested by a friend, I drove my CT to the nearest Tesla Service Center. The technician quickly checked it and found everything is normal. They suspected it is software bug and asked me to do another update at home. On the way home, however, FSD started working and took me home without any problems.

no software is bug free!?

Interesting that you mentioned this.

My CB still shows that I have FSD as included on the features screen where it shows your software version and FSD version but a couple weeks and several updates ago it completely stopped offering me FSD when i plug a destination into the navigator. I only tried using it once, and disengaged it about 1 minute later after it started swerving over the dashed lane divider on a curve in very busy urban rush hour traffic. After that it never offered to do FSD again. I haven’t really researched or tried to see if i can manually engage it but I thought if you had it then it was supposed to offer it with each nav drive. I’m too busy right now to worry about it but at some point I’ll have to do something to get it up and running again. My experience with it was immediately negative, however. Glad it seems to work great over and over for others but I didn’t even use it for two minutes before I was over it. Never had a strikeout or even a warning, btw. Still shows that i have no warnings and FSD is turned on when i check but just never offers to actually run FSD when i put in destinations.

anyone else have this issue?

cheers

It might offer right after installing but you have to select a setting to always use FSD for navigation. I have not. It’s a dangerous setting, as far as I am concerned, as I still don’t trust it completely.

I found a couple of times on 13.2.1 where I had disengaged and when I went to record the message I hit the engage button (that is where it used to be on my MY) and reengaged. THEN I got warnings and almost a strike. If you get a strike FSD will stop working.

I never got a single strike. It worked hours ago, but not after it rested in my garage. Once again, this is a bug with no sense or even not repeatable.

I wasn’t criticizing - you said that you got warnings and I was sharing a similar event that ended in the same result. Good luck with your problem.

This time is different. FSD simply didn’t show up. Even the technician couldn’t figure out why, but mysteriously fixed it and himself didn’t know that.

This is must be the same problem as I had. Simply stop by a service center, let a technician quickly diagnose it (service mode). The problem may disappear without reason because it is a bug.

There was a similar bug to a few trucks a couple months ago.

Apparently there's a way some variables can get set and stay sticky. Anyhow, it cleared them with an update. They did have to get a tech to reboot it, though.

I experienced the one you described a couple of months ago with an older version. This one is different. First of all, I am using the latest version 13.2.2, secondly I didn’t get any warning. The car just rested for a few hours after a perfect FSD trip.

Weird! It's still an FSD status not resetting bug, tho.

13.2.1 & 13.2.2 Have been very smooth, but I have been having mystery (ghost) "left turns". Noticed it two nights ago without Nav engaged it was putting on the left blinker and proceeding with its left turn into our neighborhood. First I thought it was out of memory. But today on a supply trip back on forth to the Lowes, its was trying to make random left turns off the state highway while in Cruise mode not navigating. I finally disengaged and reset the system while driving. It seemed to clear it up for now. We will see.

FSD Just stopped working for me too. Anyone have any insight? Or fixes yet since this has been going on for a while.
