I'm curious what case law you're using to cite "electrical discrimination"...??

Campground plugs were not intended to supply 48A continuous for hours on end. This risks damage as well as service outages to other RVers. This was learned the hard way, which is why EVs are being shunned.
It varies from state to state, but generally there are overlapping laws between campgrounds, motels/hotels, and mobile home parks. When you rent a place to stay, it essentially becomes your home for that time. And as such, you agree to be provided with basic living necessities. Remember, in most places in the U.S. it is technically illegal to live somewhere without water/sewer/electrical in place and functional.

If a campground provides you access to an electrical circuit, they shouldn't be able to tell you that you can't use it to cook food, right? What about heating your RV? Of course, they should be able to put rules in place to prevent actual damage to their infrastructure, but if they designed the system to be underpowered in the first place then it's definitely a them problem and not a consumer problem.

If you put 50 amp pedestals for use at each site, and tell people that they cannot draw near 50 amps, you have simply under budgeted your power. Cheaping out on infrastructure isn't a valid excuse.

The RV plugs were sized for a specific purpose. EV charging is not typical use for an outlet.

My power strip has 5 outlets. That doesn't mean I can charge 5 EVs simultaneously with it.

I'm sure many hotels would rightfully send you packing for running an extension cord to your EV, or for leaving the water running 24/7, etc.

RV aircon is about 1 kw.
I know, I understand. I'm an Electrical Engineer that worked at camping stores for a few years when younger, camped with the family for many years and had a Class C for 17 years

But thank you for reminding me of the app load and informing others who didn't know.

My argument would be with RV park owners that specifically underbuilt their electric grid because they were too cheap and irresponsible to provision it properly; not so much on the side of waste/abuse of utilities.

I'm with @CyberGus on this one. It is very common, and I will guarantee you that your house is designed the exact same way, that the cumulative amount of a load on a circuit is more than that of the leg above it.
When the electrician designed your house, they didn't take the max capacity of each circuit and use that in the calculation of the number of breakers that they can put in your 200A panel. Go down and count the total capacity of breakers in your panel and they will probably surpass the panel's load.

So yes, EV charging does tax the campground's grid. And it is very possible that during the heat of the summer with all lots on a circuit occupied and three people unplugging their NEMA 15-40 from the trailer and connecting to the car, or worse, using the NEMA 14-50 AND the TT 30A, that an upstream breaker will blow.

Using both the NEMA 14-50 and the TT 30A is probably on the dangerous side, as they weren't designed to be used that way. I know of no camper that uses both, one or the other (More than 1 AC - NEMA 14-50, 1 AC - TT 30A) And using both is possibly going to give your AC or car fits, because the TT 30A probably uses one of the legs of the wires going to your site.

You must have never read your reservation agreement.

There absolutely is an orderly line. It's just a little too complex for neophytes to understand. Tesla has used the same process for years.

The way that you are making the argument sounds like your reservation number is pretty high and you are trying to get around it.

You sound like one of the kids at school wo always broke line.
Is it fair for a kid at school to be the first in line and buy up all the meals and then charge other students double if they want one?

After watching some Youtubes about FSD beta: if that is included, I would be happy

Then you may have to wait a little longer, odds are that the clause will be there for a year or two, or at least until the line gets small.

It is included in the Foundation Series package. It is available as an add-on for any other package when they become available. It may be a few months before it gets ported to the Cybertruck, but it will be there, specifically the FSD Beta.
