Once the investigation is over, they should keep that Cybertruck as a museum piece inside the Trump tower. It would be a cool, bold, and subtle way to show the true power of Cybertruck. They should put a board “The Tank that saved the Tower!” ?

Imagine this power in the hands of your worst enemy. No company should be able to do this and definitely no government.
do what? stop terror absolutely anything go's to accomplish that. once you go over that line into terrorism territory you lose all rights, but you would need to be sure about it like video evidence not just here say.

Now you have third-parties deciding what is "terrorism". Load up guns to go shoot with your friends and your truck is locked down. That's ridiculous. Most would sell their vehicle if the manufacturer implemented something like that. Luckily Elon is completely against stuff like that.

Ok why don't you go start up your pre-crime division and write that minority report.

that's not what I said. I do that all the time with my friends. but we drive out to the middle of nowhere (Barstow hills) where there is nobody around for miles so if we do something stupid with those guns, we can only hurt ourselves. There was three parts to that terrorist (red flag) lock down event until further investigation is done. part one was guns. part 2 was mass destruction means like a load of explosives and 3 was destination (a place where other innocent people are) if you fit all 3 then yes absolutely lock that bitch down!

For those who didn't hear about the rented truck being slammed into a crowd last night.

-Crissa
We've had this event before .... Burke Street Mall comes to mind immediately!
The Cops could have shot him when they had the chance.....FAIL.
Seven innocent people were slaughtered by one car driver.
The 'BurningManCybertruck' pales compared to lives lost of people going about their day with mindfulness. Let's show the World care ....be mindful. We must move on from here!

Thank goodness the Founding Father’s knew better. What you’re suggesting is about as Un-American as it gets.

there aren't no good guys doing shit like this. And if you get a lock down it doesn't make you guilty it's just an anti-terror measure and a simple phone call will get it cleared. after you explain your plans at the trump hotel with 500 bls of explosives and 2 handguns.
this seems perfectly reasonable, and it will be determined by AI nobody will be invading your privacy it's just a machine.

The day that my car does anything like that; Elon can have it back (and the other 3).

The very concept is Un-American.

The problem is freedom. I live in Vegas, have a buddy visiting, and have a favorite spot out in the desert I like to shoot. Load up the guns in the back seat. Put the tannerite, targets, clay pigeons, propane tank with heating element, etc all in the back of the truck. Drive over to Trump tower (or any other major hotel that would trigger) to pick up my buddy.
Day ruined, cops put me in jail, now dealing with lawyers, bail, trying to get everything back, etc, etc, because I planned a fun day with friends. A security state doesn't allow for people not to be bad.

*all hypothetical, I don't live in Vegas*

[EDIT]
And no, once triggered on an event and they see guns, police are not on your side. You will end up in cuffs and at a minimum the back of a squad car.
