I'm in Southern California. That seems like a great price! What state do you live in? I was quoted $350 for i3 ceramic(93% heat rejection) tint for all the sides, $2200 for the wrap with a free three year protective coating and $450 for the windshield. I live in Central California and have used this shop to tint my wife’s MY windshield and front windows. I trust their work.
I did get quoted around that much from another shop so I would get as many quotes and referrals as you can.
Oh ok. Hopefully there’s some shops in the area that may offer a discount to film their process or for advertising. I’d keep looking. I’m sure there’s shops that would love to advertise they tinted a CT, especially in Southern California. I’m sure they’ll be a lot of them rolling around in the next few years.I'm in Southern California. That seems like a great price!
Champion Auto Salon in San Juan Capistrano is doing an amazing job on my Cybertruck. Both wrap and tint and price was best I could find. I highly recommend them. Danny was my contactOh ok. Curious how much people are paying for tint for their Cybertruck. Any info to price compare would be appreciated. I got quoted $1,100 for the windshield and $350 for the front sides, both Stek NEX.
For NorCal owners, I strongly recommend @SiliconValleyAutospa for wrapping and tint. They deal with high end PPF/Tint such as @PurePPF and @Xpel. Owner/Ravi is very knowledgeable model X owner. and most likely give you a great deal if you accept their logo on the CTCurious how much people are paying for tint for their Cybertruck. That is really inexpensive compared to some quotes floating around, any idea what kind of tint they are using, and if this is the "let us use this for marketing" price or what people will pay after they have done 10 of them?Received a second quote for FormulaOne Stratos. $500 windshield, $160 front side windows. (I should clarify if this includes the tiny A-pilar windows)
That would be for FormulaOne Stratos tint. The price had no stipulations attached to it. I've never used Stratos before, but have used their slightly lower tier line — Pinnacle — with a solid experience. That is really inexpensive compared to some quotes floating around, any idea what kind of tint they are using, and if this is the "let us use this for marketing" price or what people will pay after they have done 10 of them?
FWIW I was told someone used a solar BTU meter behind the windshield and it didn't have any useful heat rejection. No way that Tesla is shipping the largest windshield in the world without any sun protection on it right?
They build these in CA and TX, lot of sun that way.
