Just got the email to order the Foundation Sseries Cybertruck!

Hi Guys,
I just got the email to order FS Cybertruck, but have not proceed to the account yet.
My RN 11288****. I am in my 60"s and just retired with fairly good financial resource.
I would like to know your opinion since lots of arguments going around, like to order it now
or wait for the regular series after the FS production etc.
Also would be the next step, if I order it tomorrow, how early I will get it. how much time I get to
come up with the finance etc.
Your valuable opinion and suggestions appreciated.

If you can afford it, and want it now, you should go for it... For timing I'm going with the 90 days to delivery guess, but don't really know... Being in Texas should help. Waiting for the non-FS truck is hotly debated, and no one really knows when those will be delivered. Another year wait probably.

If you are financially in a position to do it and you really want the CT....do it! Life is too short and no one knows when non-FS will start delivering.

I got the same email 11286803X and decided to go with the Model Y Juniper Upgrade which better suits my current needs and it's approximately $35K Cheaper and has longer legs.

+1 to what others said. If $$ is not a constraint, then it makes sense to pull the trigger. Financial constraint is the primary reason many folks are holding back.

As folks are still getting FS invites, my speculation is that Tesla will eventually send FS invites to pretty much all reservation holders to make it fair. Then they might switch to non FS Beast, and then regular AWD. This might take a year, two, honestly even Tesla might know as nobody knows how many reservation holders will go through FS order once they get it, just like you.

I got the same email 11286803X and decided to go with the Model Y Juniper Upgrade which better suits my current needs and it's approximately $35K Cheaper and has longer legs.

I’m curious to know how you are able to order Juniper Y now. I was told that Juniper will not be released till early next year. The Tesla rep iterated multiple times saying that “they got clear instructions to communicate this to all customers”. No Juniper Y for a year.

I'm of the opinion you should order it now or the wait for a regular CT could be a couple of years. I did not want to wait any longer. The Tesla OTA updates are pretty amazing to keep your Tesla up to date as they age. Apparently, they are amazing trucks and suspect you will not be disappointed, unless you wanted to pull a trailer!

If you are hesitated, go to the nearest showroom to take one more look, if you are still hesitated, then just stay put. The invite won't go away soon.

The wait, the uncertainty of the build quality, the anxiety of depreciation, are very mental stressed if not fully prepared.

Wait for the non FS Cyberbeast it’s worth it. I made a mistake by ordering FS dual motor. FS Cyberbeast is too costly.

For planning purposes the time from order to delivery has been ranging from 60-80 days. Being in Texas that would most likely help shorten the window. Look at the items included in FS and then figure out if that's makes it worthwhile for you. Good luck on your decision.

Wow, i once thought my 11285 was the end of FS line.

What is the estimated delivery window? And which state are you in?

San Diego, CA - and it simply said Mar-May 2024. Normal AWD not Beast.
