File taxes early - so you get the tax refund early.

It is a separate question as to why you would pay extra taxes and get a big return in the first place ... but not for this forum

Are you sure the mail didn't end up in the junk mail folder ? I see a lot of 1288xxxx reservations getting invites yesterday.

Already filed a couple days ago but I expect my refund to move at the speed of government.

As to why I'm getting such a large refund, the reason is that I own a business with cashflow that varies quite a bit each month, so when I am sending in my quarterly payments I tend to err on the side of sending too much than too little. My deductions are also complicated, so generally speaking I am always surprised by how much or little taxes I owe each year. My first year I ended up with a surprise $10,000 tax bill. Most years I break even, but this year it looks like I overpaid by like $10,000, so hey cool an added down payment. I'll probably send in less this year for my quarterlies since I know I'll be getting a huge tax credit and deduction with this truck

Yeah, I made my 11288 reservation at 7pm on 11/22/2019 and I just now got my invite. My neighbor was asking how quickly he'd get one if he put in a reservation today and I LOL'd
