or wait for a software update to get the "snow shake" mode for Cybertruck. :p

I really like this feature, it should really do it a couple of times during the night so the snow doesn't build up. At least the BAW should run on a timer to keep the windscreen free.

Congrats on delivery. If they have nine CT’s at Pleasant Grove SC and no one else from Utah has a vin, that tells me very few Utahns are participating in this forum. My order (12/22) was like a week after you so I have been expecting a vin any day. Do you think PG is so busy they haven’t had time to prep the trucks they have had for weeks? My impression in the beginning was vins were issued when they hit the production line in Austin. Now it seems that Tesla doesn’t issue a vin until it is at the SC. That was the case with yours. It is odd that at least 5 trucks have been there at the SC for weeks. Im happy you had a good experience as that bodes well for the rest of us.
Yes I think the fact that they were super busy during the Model Y promotion in February is def one of the reasons they haven’t been able to prep the trucks that are there for delivery.

while I was waiting, they took me out to my truck to get hang out with it. It was the only one there that had been cleaned up and was ready to go to a new home.

the others in the lot were still waiting for be cleaned up. I can also say after looking at the trucks waiting to be cleaned that it’s not a small job to get them ready. They are reaaaaally dirty. I’m sure it takes a few hours to make each of them presentable!

I’d say when you get your VIN, go down and chat with them. There’s a strong chance your truck is already there.

Thank you for posting! Utah boy here January 2nd order. Such great news to have a Utah delivery posted. I know CTs have been spotted in Pleasant Grove but nobody was posting here so it is nice to hear from someone. It feels closer and more real now.
How is it in the snow? My MYLR is pretty bad in the snow. The tires that came on it are pretty bad.
Pretty good in the snow! I think I’ll def get some AS tires for it for winter use. The AT tires seem to slide around a bit but not bad.

Yeah with my M3 I bought straight up snow tires for winter use. The tires that came with it are great for summer but no bueno for winter for sure! Haha

Also in Utah. Ordered 12/26. No vin. When you did get your vin, did you see it in the app or get a text first?
Got the VIN in the app. No text or email. Hang in there! The truck is soooooo worth the wait! Really fun!

Any update on the wheel covers? Hoping they will have a fix or replacement by the time mine arrives.
No update on the wheel covers. The truck in the showroom had them but none of the trucks on the lot did.

Thanks! Probably gonna stick with the ATs for the time being. Figure I’ll probably wear them out by next winter….

Truck actually doing really well in the snow! The BAW is driving the snow struggle bus a bit tho…. Haha. I’ll post picture tonight.

Cheers!
Ahhh, let's see the BAW in snow action! We've gotten a lot of rain recently out in SoCal and it's been fine in the rain. Curious to see how it performs with snow - does much stay on windshield given the angle and no lip for it to sit on?

Congrats. Post your range with that weather ?
Ok! So yesterday pre-storm I registered 355 wh/mile. Around 55 deg. Also me driving a bit hard just to check it out…. Haha

last night when the snow was dumping and the rest was in the 20s, it registered 417 wh/mile.

Hope that’s helpful!

Something I’ve been wondering, and you offered to answer questions, and seem to understand what clearing snow off a car is like…
Can you flip the BAW up so it’s out of the way when clearing snow off the CT?

Reviewers have noted that the BAW does not "flip up". However...

Per the manual:
Cold Weather Best Practices
To ensure that Cybertruck provides you with the best ownership experience possible in harsh cold weather conditions, follow these best practices.
Before Driving
When snow and ice accumulate on your vehicle, moving parts, such as the doors, windows, mirrors, and the wiper can freeze in place. To achieve maximum range and performance, it is helpful to warm the cabin and Battery before driving. There are several ways to do so:
  • Touch Schedule, available on both the charging and climate control screens, to set a time when you want your vehicle to be ready to drive (see Schedule at this Location).
  • In the mobile app, navigate to Climate to customize the temperature at which you want to heat the cabin. This also warms the high voltage Battery as needed.
  • In the mobile app, navigate to Climate to melt snow, ice, and frost on the windshield, charge port, windows, and mirrors. This also warms the high voltage Battery as needed.
