CA border with Nevada address. Delivery from Reno with 3 Cybertrucks on resale at Car Gurus. Advisor said 3 deliveries yet to non-employees.

Quick turn over - forward and backing one round at the lot and everything else I would have to figure out myself.

Nothing to report yet except that I've created a bit of traffic with nobody wanting to overtake me and a few wanting to just drive by my side.

First in the wish list is to try it pulling my 3K lbs RV up the brutal Donner Pass where they tested the semi.

The negative.

Bait and switch on Tesla financing. Tesla should choose a better financing partners.

I am high liquid asset-high investment income individual with credit score of 830.

I told myself I'll pay cash if I don't get a 5% interest rate. I am willing to bite at 6.49% at 60 mos with $7,738 downpayment. But after approval, they apparently pulled it out with 8.65% for 84 months and 30% downpayment.

My SSN was hammered with 6 inquiries that my score dropped to 816 then 814 to 810.

Last day thinking I have no option, was told I have a provisional approval on the last quote.

I said no way! I'll just pay cash (let Tesla lose .25% to .50% rebate on financing).

Lessons for everyone on my 30 years of negotiating loans from multinational-global banks in the US, Asia and Europe: Don't even sit down to negotiate if you are not ready to walk out. And if you are desperate with no options, just save time and sign on that damn dotted line.

Congrats! Sorry for the finance mishap. Clearly Tesla is not as in tune with that department as you seem to be. Here’s a thought. Just sit in your cybertruck (so jealous!), and blast some Enya or some sort of spa music that soothes your ears. Whisper “woosah” to yourself a few times. Drive to a quiet place, like the beach, and open the windows. Listen to the waves wash along the shore, and just think, “ahhhh, I made it” and the rest will disappear like the sand along the shoreline.

I never even heard those company's being in financing.

Were the advisors over there helpful prior to your delivery? I went over there after I got my VIN and they said they couldn't lookup where the truck was or when it might get delivered. The guy said it would most likely be delivered in the next 4 months...
