Hello Everyone,

I'm excited to share a project that I believe many of you will find both useful and enhancing our Cybertrucks. Recognizing the need for a more polished look when the stock wheel covers are not in use, I've designed custom 3D printed Lug Nut Covers that fit well.

This design specifically addresses the issue of exposed and unfinished lug nuts, offering a custom, durable solution. Printed in black ASA for superior durability, UV resistance, and heat tolerance, these covers are built tough.

Here's the best part: I'm sharing this design with the community for personal use, absolutely free. Whether you're an experienced 3D printer enthusiast or new to the world of 3D printing, these lug nut covers are straightforward to print and install, making them a great addition to your Cybertruck's look.

You can download the design files from the following links:

I'm looking forward to your feedback and seeing how these covers improve the aesthetics of your Cybertrucks. Feel free to share your experiences, photos, and any suggestions for improvements. Let's keep innovating and enhancing our Cybertrucks together!

Happy Printing and Safe Driving,

P.S. This project is for personal use and not for resale. Let's respect the spirit of sharing and community support.

My advice is, "It depends". I've found that the Bambu labs products are the Apple of 3D printers. They work out of the box, are made for every day people, and scale up with professionals.

All of them are good to get started with, although the A1 and A1 mini seem to have some issues lately.

Hi, I glad you like it. See my STL file attached. My design has 2 parts, the inside is different material for flexibility Formlabs resin (Tough 1500/2000, and the outside cover is FDM ABS. With some super glue, both parts bond great.
Can you please upload to Thingiverse or Printables? Not seeing the attachment on here.

Just dropping in for a quick update on those wheel covers for the stock CT rims. Man, what a ride it’s been – way trickier than I thought it'd be.

So, I’ve been hammering away at this every evening after work and diving deep over the weekends. Starting from scratch is no joke, especially when you're gunning for something that’s top-notch. I’m talking a one-piece design that not only looks good, but stays put just with friction, and can take on heat, UV, and all sorts of weather.

Let’s just say my place is starting to look like a wheel cover graveyard – I’ve stopped counting after hitting the 40-prototype mark. But here's the deal: printing with ASA is like playing on hard mode – it’s no cakewalk because of how robust it is against heat and UV, which is exactly why I chose it.

I’m finally getting to a version I’m stoked about. Here's a peek at some of the prototypes that have been through the wringer.

Can you do a version the with cybertruck triangle? Also, how are you doing the logos? Is it a different layer than the black plastic?

Awesome! Any chance you'd give a centercap a try? One that covers the lug nuts and comes all the way to the edge of the indent
Okay guys don't forget my commission lol

I've got two versions of the triangle I'm working on. I'll provide pics when they're ready to share.

The color is done using a multi-material printer. It's designed for them to sit flush with the surface. It should collect less dirt and debris while maintaining the same durability across the surface.
