Hey guys just out of curiosity for those that have already taken delivery, what was your odometer reading. Looks like my Beast will have 15 miles on it for delivery tomorrow. Wondering if this is the average we should be expecting.

15 is fine. Mine was 26 some are more than 50

It might have more when you receive it. They tend to put 15 miles on all their cars for processing purposes. The miles shown might not indicate 15.

Wow that’s a huge difference in VIN range between mine and yours. I was assigned low 300s. I remember someone was tracking VIN ranges but seems like it kinda fizzled.

Unlike Legacy Manufacturers that recommended a reasonable run-in period before you give it the beans, Tesla are doing the work for you, the customer! That's very noble, so the higher the mileage, the better the motors are 'run-in'

This is also my first EV. Is there such thing as taking it easy like you do for ICE vehicles during initial possession? Or are you good to start ripping from the get go? ?

In the '80s l became the first curator of the FOX COLLECTION, and as such was obligated to warm the motors, and allow for the newer low mileage cars when giving, for example, an 'Italian Tune-up' in the 308 GTB.....
When l get my CT, l'm gonna give it heaps from the 'MAD MAX' get go!

15 is on the low side. My son picked his up new and it had over 50 on it, he had issues with it but hard for tesla to transport trucks without putting a few miles on them.

Yup just brought the Beast home fits well in a standard garage. Hulk smash loving it! ?
