Was it a new model? Had they been making it for awhile?
it was a brand new model (since they discontinued the Bronco decades ago).

And my buddy is on his third Bronco. The first bricked itself, they promised him a replacement, they dithered so long the dealership bought the vehicle before it was delivered and offered him a third...

...Which is back to having electrical problems.

Then great for you. That's Ford.
If it was an early model, then evidently they had worked out all of the production issues and was able to accurately predict production day to day. I think that the Bronco platform was an existing one, that definitely helps.

But the Cybertruck is basically net new.

If Ford is so great, why are you here?

cool… I’m talking about communication to customers during the production process and when there are issues with a brand new model.

Because unlike some of the people here like you, my identify is not tied to the brand of my cars nor do I feel threatened when someone critiques something I like. You should try it sometime.

Tesla needing to improve its CS and being a great car can both be true. Grow up.

My grandfather was a Ford dealer.
My uncle was a Ford dealer.
I have owned numerous Fords up until about 8 years ago when I went electric.

I've tried to custom order Fords, and the dealers were all happy saying that I shouldn't. It would take at least a half year and even then would probably get cancelled.

ONLY with the pressure from Tesla, has Ford started to allow semi-direct to manufacturer orders.

So you may have had a good experience with your Bronco, but that's far from Ford's common practice.

And I've had pretty good luck with Tesla. They've pretty much have done what they said they would. I wasn't stupid and expect that Jan-Mar meant that I was going to get one Jan 1.
They communicate with me when they have something to say. They don't keep bombing my email with "Free Oil Change" messages.

And after having gone through the Model 3 delivery process, my guess on delivery back in January is seeming to work out just about exactly what I expected.

I’m no stranger to ordering new cars or running a large business, …
Please give us the name of this large business. I have Glassdoor, Amazon reviews, and enthusiast forums pulled up and ready to validate your BS claim about how your business communicated its business and product development issues to its customers. Let see if you are real.

Are they failing? Unless i missed something, i've seen maybe 5 that have had a serious issue. Of 6500 vehicles produced, that is less than a 0.001% failure rate.
And now some news media is going to pick up this thread and run a flash news - Tesla is not doing anything about all the trucks that are failing. Yeah 0.001%, but that’s how they have to get the clicks! ?‍♂
